Mark your calendar for July 16th to 19th, 2026, and join us at the Acoustic Maritime Music Festival, hosted at the stunning coastal setting of Kempt Shore Ocean View Campground in Hants County, Nova Scotia. This four-day event showcases world-class acoustic performances by Canadian original singer-songwriters with a special focus on Maritime talent, offering music fans a unique blend of creativity and community.
The festival opens Thursday afternoon with Marc’s Jam and an open mic hosted by Mike Milne, setting the tone for a weekend of incredible music and fun. From Friday to Sunday, enjoy a full lineup of performances, non-stop field jam sessions, and artist-hosted theme workshops. Feel free to come and showcase your talent at the two on-stage open mic sessions.

Tie-Dye Saturday is back, get in the groove, the Faheys and their tie-dye concession will be on site all weekend. Browse unique handmade jewelry and leather crafts from Lilly Pond Designs. When you’re feeling hungry, treat yourself to delicious offerings from Walker’s food concession or satisfy your sweet tooth at Sarah’s Sweet Shop. More vendors and surprises will be announced soon!
Come and showcase your talent at the two on stage open mic sessions. There will also be Artist hosted Theme workshops. Field jam sessions are usually non-stop. Fans not only come for the music but also enjoy the 800 ft of beach and fishing for striped bass which are usually running at this time. Don’t forget to cool off at the nearby Kempt Quarry—a perfect spot for swimming, kayaking, and family fun. The campground offers both serviced and non-serviced camping options, with flush toilets and free showers available on-site to ensure your comfort throughout the weekend.
