This picturesque spot is a local favorite, perfect for a leisurely picnic or a refreshing swim in its clear, cool freshwater pools.

Kempt Quarry’s calm waters provide a safe and enjoyable swimming experience for all ages, with shallow areas perfect for children and deeper sections for more adventurous swimmers. The calm waters make it ideal for canoeing and kayaking, allowing visitors to glide through the quarry’s serene environment. Its grassy banks provide a picturesque setting for picnics, where families and friends can relax and enjoy the view. Burntcoat Head Park

Recognized as one of the Seven Wonders of North America and a finalist for the Seven Wonders of the World, Burntcoat Head Park showcases the awe-inspiring beauty of Nova Scotia’s Bay of Fundy.
